I was born in Hampstead and grew up in London, on the Essex marshes, and in France.
After university, a brush with the music industry, a spell working as a high-flier for the UK Government, a period teaching in a French business school, I went to work for a French computer company.
Since then I have spent a lot of time with and around hardware and software of all kinds, in UK, France, and Scandinavia. My last software job was with a mobile provider in Finland and I still do some consulting in the mobile industry.
In addition I recently set up a training academy in France for French businessmen and also republished a novel I wrote a while back, but as an e-book on Amazon, here:
On the way I got married and now have five grown-up children (and four grandchildren).
I am passionately interested in all kinds of music, literature, film, gardening, food and wine - and of course new technologies.
